How Do Parent Reports Work?

Where: log in to your parent account via the website.
When: reports update after every game your child plays.
Report card: your child’s percentage score for each level and each synthetic phonics skill.
Detailed report: how your child did on the smaller steps within each skill, for example blending sounds together before reading words.

What If My Child Gets Stuck?

It’s normal for children to find some parts of learning to read and spell tricky. If your child gets an answer wrong, the game guides them step by step until they get it right, then they move on. Their score shows how much help they needed.

Harder games stay locked until your child is ready for them, so they can’t skip ahead. If a level feels too easy or too hard, you can change it in the app or in your parent account on the website. Change your child’s level.

If you’re worried about your child, check their report for games marked yellow or red. These are the games where they needed the most help. Your child can replay them to practise and improve their score.
