How Do I Log In?
How you log in to Phonics Hero depends on how your child’s account was set up. Use the section below that matches your situation. The same login details work whether you’re using the website or the app.
If your child’s account was set up by their school
Your child logs in with the username and password their school gave you (often printed on a Login Card or sent home in a letter). They can also select the QR code login option and scan their code instead of typing their details.
If your child attends a NSW public school
You will need to log in with Single-Sign-On. On the login page, select NSW DoE Login. Your child then logs in with their usual school SSO email and password — the same details they use for other NSW DoE systems at school.
If you set up the account yourself as a parent
You log in with the email address and password you used to sign up. QR code login is not available for parent accounts.
Logging in on the app vs the website
Your login details are the same either way — there’s no separate app login. Download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, or log in at phonicshero.com/new-login on a computer. Note that the app only has the child game features; for reporting and extra resources, log in on the website.
