How Do We Play the Games?

The steps below were correct at the time of writing, but device and software settings change with updates. If a step has moved, search for the relevant setting by name.
On a computer:

Where to find this: Log in › Welcome Page
- Click the blue Start or Play Games button next to the child’s name.
- Click on the game icon and away they go!
On a tablet:
- First, download the app (iPads and Android tablets).
- Log in using the same details.
- Click on their name and choose their game.
Please note: The first time children log in, they will be given the option to start from the beginning or to take the Placement Test (which will place them at the relevant starting level according to their results).
You’ll want to make that decision for them before they start playing. If they are brand new to phonics, start them from the beginning. However, if they have some phonics knowledge, let them take the Placement Test — we don’t want them getting bored because it’s “too easy”.
