How Do We Play the Games?
Easy!…
On a computer:
Log in > Welcome Page
- Log in using the child’s Phonics Hero login details.
- Click the blue ‘Start’ or ‘Play Games’ button next to their name.
- Click on the game icon and away they go!
On a tablet:
- First, download the app (iPads and Android tablets).
- Log in using the same details.
- Click on their name and choose their game.
Please note: The first time children log in, they will be given the option to start from the beginning or to take the Placement Test (which will jump them to the relevant starting level according to their results).
You’ll want to make that decision for them before they start playing. If they are brand new to phonics just start them from the beginning, however if they’ve got some knowledge, take the Placement Test – we don’t want them getting bored because it’s “too easy”.
