Cancel My Trial
If you decide Phonics Hero isn’t right for you right now, here’s what you need to know about ending your trial.
You will need to cancel your trial in the same place you originally signed up — via our website, the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Website trial
There’s nothing you need to do. We don’t take any payment details during your trial, so it will simply expire at the end of the trial period with no charge.
Your account and your child’s progress will be saved, so if you’d like to come back when your child is ready, you can subscribe and pick up right where you left off.
Apple App Store trial
If you started your trial through the Apple App Store, you will need to cancel it there to avoid being charged at the end of the trial period.
- Open the Settings app on your device.
- Tap your name at the top of the screen.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap the Phonics Hero subscription.
- Tap Cancel Subscription. You may need to scroll down to find this button.
Google Play trial
If you started your trial through Google Play, you will need to cancel it there to avoid being charged at the end of the trial period.
- Open the Google Play Store app on your device.
- Tap your profile icon in the top right corner.
- Tap Payments & Subscriptions › Subscriptions.
- Tap the Phonics Hero subscription.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and follow the prompts to confirm.
If you’d like your account and data deleted entirely, please email us at info@phonicshero.com and we’ll take care of it. Please note: if your trial is through the Apple App Store or Google Play, you will also need to cancel it there to avoid being charged.
