Adding More Children
Each child needs their own account so they can progress at their own rate and so you can track their individual progress through the reports.
Adding children can only be done through the Phonics Hero website, not the app. This is a constraint set by Apple and Google. Once added, children can play through both the website and the app.
Already added your child and just need to pay? Skip to payment.
Step 1: Add your child
- Press the green Add Child button at the bottom of the page.
- In the pop-up window, enter the number of children and their names or nicknames.
- Press the green Save button.
Your additional children can now play through the website or the app. If you are on a free trial, you’re done! No payment is needed until you’re ready to subscribe.

Step 2: Pay for their subscription
How you pay depends on how you originally subscribed for your first child.
Via our website
Website subscriptions are billed every 6 months. Subscribe by clicking the green ‘Buy now’ button next to your child’s name within your account.
Sibling discount available: the first child pays full price, then each subsequent child is 50% off:
- Set up all your children in the account.
- Make sure you have already paid for your first child (through the green ‘Buy now’ button in your account).
- Pay the discounted rate for each subsequent child through this payment form.
- Our team will confirm the payment, activate the additional account(s) and email you to confirm.
Via Apple App Store or Google Play
App subscriptions are billed monthly. These stores currently only allow one child per in-app purchase, so additional children need to be purchased separately. To pay for additional children, please place an order here for a 3-month subscription. Once we receive payment we’ll email you to confirm the activation of the account.
Please note: sibling discounts are only available on the 6 month subscription packages, not monthly app subscriptions.
